Garpenberg Castle is the perfect place for wedding celebrations.

WITH A CAPACITY FOR 80 OVERNIGHT GUESTS, BALLROOM FOR UP TO 80 SEATED FOR DINNER, MANY LARGE LOUNGES AND THE BEAUTIFUL CASTLE GROUNDS.

Our three-day weddings begin with the arrival of the wedding party the day before the wedding. When you get time to relax and enjoy an intimate dinner and then an evening in the lounges, where we go over the final details. All arrangements are completed and the last bouquets are prepared in order to fill the house the following day. The Master of Ceremonies and Toast-Madam/Master brush up on the last of the prepared secrets, just so that the bride and groom can relax before their upcoming big day.

A not-too-early morning where, hidden from your arriving guests, you can get ready in the castle wings. While your families and friends check in and have lunch in the castle restaurant, you have plenty of time to get ready for your departure.

A short drive from the castle, the church bells ring for the bride and groom. Following the service, your guests gather under the oaks in front of the castle for your arrival and bridal toast.

People usually choose to hold their wedding at Garpenberg Castle for the atmosphere and the beautiful environment, but also for practical reasons. From a geographical perspective, the Castle is centrally situated, within a short radius of many of central Sweden's cities. A journey of 2 hours from Stockholm and a taxi ride from Arlanda.

Questions & quotes for our weddings

We will send you a quote upon request. This includes our proposals for various packages and other related services that we offer. It is also possible to get married in our castle grounds, in which case there is an additional charge, but subject to a maximum of 50 attendees. This is due to the fact that we have to be able to move the wedding into our basement vault in the event of bad weather.
